FlexiShield Paint Protection Film Refund/Exchange Policy and Warranty outlines the refund rules, warranty coverage, exclusions, claims process, legal limitations, and aftercare instructions for FlexiShield products.
0–2 weeks after purchase: A 25% processing and restocking fee will apply. 2–4 weeks after purchase: A 50% processing and restocking fee will apply. After 4 weeks: No refunds will be granted outside of approved warranty claims.
Reflek Technologies Corporation warrants FlexiShield paint protection film and window film lines to be free from manufacturing and workmanship defects for 10 years from the date of installation on painted automotive surfaces. This warranty covers fading, color change, cracking, bubbling, and delamination.
FlexiShield DFR has a 1-year warranty for cracking, bubbling, or delamination. FlexiShield DFR PRO has a 2-year warranty for cracking, bubbling, or delamination plus a 1-year warranty for top-coat damage including minor scratches and abrasions. FlexiShield DFR PRO Lite also has a 2-year warranty for cracking, bubbling, or delamination plus a 1-year top-coat damage warranty. FlexiShield MAT has a 10-year warranty. FlexiShield Cosmetic PPF Series 1 has a 5-year warranty.
FlexiShield Cosmetic PPF Series 2 has a 10-year warranty. FlexiShield HDL has a 3-year warranty. FlexiShield HP has a 5-year warranty. FlexiShield STH has a 10-year warranty. FlexiShield WSH has a 10-year warranty. FlexiShield WSH PRO has a 12-year warranty. FlexiShield DPH has a 12-year warranty.
FlexiShield BHP and BHP Lite each have an 8-year warranty. FlexiShield RPF has a 5-year warranty, all covering cracking, bubbling, or delamination unless otherwise stated.
This warranty does not cover FlexiShield products installed on vehicles used for commercial or professional activities such as racing cars, courier fleets, and rentals, or marine applications such as houseboats and yachts.
For faster processing, customers should register their product. Replacement of defective film is the only compensation provided and requires valid proof of purchase from an authorized dealership. Labor costs are not covered. Claims must first be addressed to the original installer, and Reflek Technologies will only provide manufacturer coverage if the installer cannot resolve the issue.
Implied warranties such as merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the applicable warranty period. FlexiShield and installers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the product except where prohibited by law.
During the first 7 days, do not wash the car, avoid wiping the film near edges, and avoid high-pressure car washes. During the first 3 days, limit speed to 50 mph (80 km/h). Water trapped under the film is normal and will evaporate within 15–30 days, faster in sunlight.
Avoid strong acids or alkalis during cleaning. If lifting or bubbling occurs, contact the installer and do not cut or peel the film. Self-healing and water repellency do not guarantee protection under extreme conditions, so contaminants like bird droppings and bugs should be cleaned within 72 hours. Use high-quality microfiber cloths to prevent staining.
